Meet Maxine Kinnoch – Our Dedicated Home Manager

We’re thrilled to introduce Maxine Kinnoch, our Home Manager, who brings an impressive depth of experience and a true passion for compassionate care to our team. Maxine’s journey in the care sector began over three decades ago, and her commitment to supporting others has only grown stronger over the years.

Maxine started her career as a Care Assistant, working closely with residents and developing a hands-on understanding of their needs. Driven by a desire to make an even greater difference, she trained as a Nurse, a role that led her to a 27-year career with the NHS. During her time there, Maxine gained extensive experience on the surgical wards and in Emergency Receiving before moving into a leadership position as a Ward Manager. She also played an important role in Practice Development, before becoming a Caring and Compassionate Practice Nurse and developing this philosophy across the service. In this role, she worked to bring a philosophy of kindness and respect into everyday practice, making sure these values were woven into the heart of patient care.

In 2013, Maxine decided to take her expertise into the care home sector. She saw an opportunity to support residents in a way that blends professional, high-quality care with a genuine sense of warmth and community. She hasn’t looked back since. After managing several care homes, including most recently Boclair Care Home, Maxine joined us in September to take on an exciting new challenge – leading the team at our purpose-built luxury care home.

Since her arrival, Maxine has been a wonderful addition to our community. Under her guidance, we’ve enjoyed a lively calendar of activities, including musical performances by three talented singers and a festive Halloween party that residents and staff alike thoroughly enjoyed. Maxine is helping to create a warm environment where residents feel truly at home, and it shows in every event and interaction.

Looking ahead, Maxine is excited to welcome families, friends, and the local community to our upcoming Cheese and Wine Party on 19th November at 6.30pm. This event is a lovely opportunity for guests to get to know Maxine and experience the warm, friendly atmosphere she’s helping to create.
